Amendment 2

Notice of Race & Sailing Instruction 2.7 will be amended to read

2.7 Single race entry fees are: B&G Simrad 50 $50.00

B&G Simrad 60 $50.00

B&G Simrad 100 $50.00

Entry for individual races closes 2 days before the start of the race. Except for the B&G Simrad 50 where Entry will close at 10am Friday 11th of July 2008

 

Amendment 3

Notice of Race and Sailing Instruction 5.2 will be amended to read:

5.2 Racing Schedule:

Simrad Barrier 50 - Saturday 19th July 2008

Simrad Barrier 60 - Saturday 2nd August 2008

Simrad Barrier 100 - Saturday 6th September 2008

 

Amendment 4

Notice of Race and Sailing Instruction 10.1 will be amended to read

10.1 Simrad Barrier 50 1200 hrs Sunday 20th July 2008

Simrad Barrier 60 1200 hrs Sunday 3th Aug 2008

Simrad Barrier 100 2000 hrs Sunday 7th Sept 2008

 

Amendment 5

13 SCORING

Notice of Race and Sailing Instruction 13.2 will be amended to read

13.2 A boat shall enter in all races and start in both races 2 and 3 (B&G Simrad 60 and B&G Simrad

100) to be eligible for series points. This amends Rule A4.2. Any boat not entering all races and

starting in races 2 and 3 will be removed from all series points? calculations. This will result in all

boats finishing behind such a boat in a given race being promoted a place in that race in series

calculations.

 

Amendment 6

Notice of Race and Sailing Instruction 21 will be amended to read

21 PRIZES AND PRIZEGIVING:

21.1 Plaques as prizes have been allocated to the series by ADVANCE TRIDENT LTD (B&G/SIMRAD) and

trophies by THE LION FOUNDATION. Plaques will be awarded to boats 1st on line in each division and for

places on Handicap in each division for individual races. Trophies will be awarded to boats 1st on line in

each division and for places on HANDICAP in each division for the series.

21.2 Prizes will be awarded according to the following scale: Starters: 3 4-6 7+

Prizes 1 2 3

21.3 The ADVANCE TRIDENT LTD trophy will be awarded to the monohull in Shorthaul Divisions 1, 2, 3, 4 &

6 with the shortest aggregate elapsed time for races 2 & 3.

21.4 The Fay Richwhite Trophy will be awarded to the monohull in the Longhaul Division with the shortest

aggregate elapsed time for races 2 and 3.

21.5 The Sundreamer Cup will be awarded to the multihull in the Longhaul Division with the shortest

aggregate elapsed time for races 2 & 3.

21.6 The Young 88 Trophy will be awarded to the Young 88 that is first overall for series points awarded for

line.

21.7 The Farr 1020 Shorthanded Class Champion Trophy will be awarded to the first Farr 1020 overall for

series points for line.

 

Amendment 7

Notice of Race and Sailing instruction 9.1 shall be changed to read:

9.1 The Finish Line shall be a line between the Flagstaff at Orakei Wharf and the mast of the SSANZ Committee boat.
